Physical Education, From Mr. Johnson: “I know the weather is getting wetter and colder but please remember to have your students come in shoes that are appropriate for PE. I would greatly appreciate if boots were not worn to PE as the boots can damage the gym floor. If it is needed, you may send your child’s PE appropriate shoes in their backpack and they may switch into PE appropriate shoes at the beginning of the PE class. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.”

Library: The Fall Scholastic Book Fair will be December 2 – 6, 2019. Online shopping will be open from November 18th – December 10, 2019 – books & materials will be shipped to your house, and purchases will earn 25% in rewards for Ardmore. Watch out for more information as the date gets closer.  Volunteers are needed & a sign up will be going out soon!!!

Counselors Care:

Unit in our K, 1st and 2nd grade classrooms.
In these lessons, students learn three types of skills:

• • Personal Safety
  • Touching Safety
  • Assertiveness

Parent letters will be coming home with your child to learn more about the lessons and what students will be learning. If you have any further questions about the curriculum, please reach out to me; it is our hope that all lessons will be taught prior to Winter Break.
