No lost and found items will be available for pick up because of social distancing and health guidelines.

STEP 1 – Prepare to Leave for the School

  1. Have student name/s and grade level written in large print on paper or card and place in your vehicle passenger side window (see example below)
    • Place all items for return in your trunk, including
      Book room and Reading books
    • Library books
    • Laptops and hot spots if you are not participating in summer learning opportunities (include all chargers, cords and cases)
    • Musical instruments – recorders for 4th grade and instruments for current 5th
  2. You must use your vehicle to do the drop off pick up. Walk-up options are not allowed to ensure staff safety and to meet health guidelines.

STEP 2 – Drop Off/Pick Up Protocol:

  1. Drive to the Ardmore Elementary at the designated time (if you have more than one child, choose the window that works best for your family)
  2. Enter the family parking lot drive through (172nd) at <10 mph. Follow the directions and signs in the parking lot.
  3. Stop 1 – Pull up to the STOP sign. A greeter will read your student name and radio to the building for student materials. The greeter will then direct you to the next stop.
  4. Stop 2 – Drive to Stop 2. Pop or unlock your trunk so staff can access the trunk of your car. Staff will remove the items to be returned and place them in carts. A check off receipt will be left the trunk as evidence for what you have returned everything – Library Books, Bookroom Books, Music Instruments, Computers (case, charger, device, hotspot (if you have one), hotspot power cord).
  5. Stop 3 – Drive to Stop 3 with trunk open. Student materials from classrooms will be placed in your trunk and your trunk will be closed. Family can leave the school at 10 mph.
